JUANITA Williams, 33, of Lot 3 Lamaha Street, Queenstown, appeared  before Magistrate Allan Wilson yesterday, charged with inflicting  grievous bodily harm. It was alleged that, on Tuesday, March 19, at Light Street, also in Georgetown, she unlawfully and maliciously harmed Lalilia Brown.
Attorney-at-law, Mr. Paul Fung-a-Fat, for the defence, said Williams was with a friend at Rocky’s Night Club, on the night of the incident, when the virtual complainant abused and hit her with a bottle.
He said the defendant tried to defend herself.
Williams was put on $15,000 bail until May 6.
