No new development in search for Taljit

CRIME Chief Seelall Persaud told the Guyana Chronicle yesterday, that there has been no new development in the case of missing Guyana Energy Agency (GEA) employee Levoy Taljit. The 25-year-old man disappeared since leaving his Anira Street, Queenstown, Georgetown home, on December 23, 2012.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law Enforcement) said, although several persons of interest were detained and questioned, they have been released.
Since his disappearance, only Taljit’s motor vehicle, a Toyota Raum with number plate PNN 8315 was recovered along the Soesdyke/Linden Highway and it is in police custody.
Meanwhile, his relatives have, once again, appealed to the public for help in finding their loved one. They remain hopeful that Taljit would return home and are exploring all possibilities. (Michel Outridge)
