THE Panday family of the recently established Avinash Entertainment Complex on Water Street, Georgetown hosted a New Year’s Day party for more than 200 children of orphanages and from the Tiger Bay area, last Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the entertainment complex. The children, who came from Joshua House, Sadr Boys Orphanage, Sister of Mercy, St. John’s Bosco Orphanage, Shaheed Boys and Girls Orphanage, God Bless the Home, and Sophia Care Centre, were treated to two movies and snacks in the Kara and Nash Theatres of the complex.
The officials of the orphanages and guardians of the children all expressed their gratitude to the Pandays, and commended them for treating the less fortunate children to a good time.
The Panday family, last Saturday, officially opened two of six modern state-of-the-art movie theatres in the spanking new entertainment complex.
