Acting CJ grants bail to ten petitioners

ACTING Chief Justice Ian Chang has granted bail totaling $2,765,000 to ten petitioners who had been refused the grant by magistrates. One of the applicants, Lynette Singh, who is charged with assault, causing actual bodily harm, abusive language and calling names, was allowed pre-trial liberty for the sum of $90,000.
Corvin Ross has to post $600,000 and the others, Ramano Bhagwandin (550,000); Marlon Sansculotte ($200,000); Dextroy Cordis ($250,000); Albert Campbell ($250,000); Ewald Duncan ($75,000); Dion Gordon ($300,000); Imran Mohamed ($200,000) and Amrash Lettmoore ($250, 000) for different reasons.
