FIVE bandits, one armed with a shotgun, broke into the home of Mohabir Paras, 35, and his reputed wife, Sunita Beir, 31, at Ankerville, Port Mourant, Corentyne at approximately 22:45hrs on Friday, November 02. In the ensuing robbery, the perpetrators assaulted both victims and took away a quantity of jewellery, a cell phone and $10,000 in cash before escaping.
