THE People’s Progressive Party (PPP) will be holding a special conference tomorrow at the Cotton Field Secondary School, Essequibo Coast, to pass a resolution in support of Home Affairs Minister Clement Rohee who is facing a no-confidence vote by the two opposition parties in Parliament. A release from Freedom House, Anna Regina, said hundreds of Essequibians are expected to attend the conference to support the resolution.
The conference will begin at 10:00hrs.
Adviser on Governance, Ms Gail Teixeira, is scheduled to address the gathering at the conference.
Reports said Mr Ali Baksh, executive member of the Central Committee of the party, and currently Minister within the Agriculture Ministry, is also expected to attend.
