SHEW’S General Store of Leopold Street, Georgetown, is the latest to come on board in support of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) annual athletic championships which got underway yesterday and climax on Friday at the Police Sports Club ground, Eve Leary. At a simple presentation ceremony, held  Saturday at the store, proprietor Manniram “Packer” Shew, an ardent sports fan, handed over the winning prize for the Girls Under-12  eighty metres race to GPF Games Officer, Assistant Superintendent Colin Boyse.
