Six-year old needs US$50,000 for brain tumour surgery

APPROXIMATELY US$50,000 is needed for surgery for six-year-old Shurlock Semple who has been diagnosed with a brain tumour by doctors at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).
He has been in the Intensive Care Unit for the past three weeks. The child’s mother, Michelle Semple, said that her son was scheduled for surgery in Trinidad and Tobago on June 18, but due to financial difficulties he was unable to undergo the procedure to remove the tumour.
She is pleading for financial assistance.
Those wishing to make contributions could do so at the Republic Bank account 751-025-8.
