RENOWNED Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam, along with President Donald Ramotar last night unveiled the building plan for the Shelter being constructed for vulnerable children in Berbice. It took place at the Le Meridian Pegasus Hotel last evening. Fans of Sonu who purchased the VVIP tickets for the show tonight at the Guyana National Stadium at Providence were present at a dinner at the Pegasus Hotel last night, that also saw in attendance several government functionaries and prominent members of the business and religious community.
All proceeds of Sonu’s show tonight at the Stadium will be dedicated towards the construction of a Shelter for children who are victims of abuse. The building will be based in Berbice, where the Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha has already secured land.
