THE Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) will continue its Outreach Programme on Wednesday at the G.N.I.C Sports club from 16:00 hrs. According to a release, the programme is designed to assist member clubs in using the available space at their venue to maximise the practice of the various disciplines of the game of cricket.
The GCA has also scheduled a one – day workshop for curators (Groundsmen) from member clubs and other interested persons this Saturday, at the Malteenoes Sports Club pavilion, at 09:00 hrs..Interested persons can register with Neil Barry (Tele: 609-9310) or Shaun Massiah( Tele: 616-7240) because only limited space is available.
Meanwhile, the Competitions Committee of the GCA would like to remind all member clubs that the deadline for the registering of players for the 2012 competitions will be Monday April 23, 2012.
