THE embattled Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) would like to inform all Counties of their schedule of tournaments for the first half of this year, which will see both tournaments feature a GCB President’s X1 Development squad. On Monday, a remedial camp for senior cricketers will begin with the players being housed at the Chetram Singh Centre of Excellence and they will use the indoor facility, the practice facility at the Guyana National Stadium and the Georgetown Cricket Club for their work.
Members of the current National team will join the players listed below for practice on their return, while a two-day match will be staged before the national team leaves for its matches against Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago.
The players who will be encamped are: Sewnarine Chattergoon, Rajendra Chandrika, Jonathan Foo, Jason Sinclair, Rajiv Ivan, Elton Baker, Zaheer Mohammed, Gajanand Singh, Herrell Green, Steven Jacobs, Anthony Adams, Vishal Singh, Charles Ramson Jnr, Ryan Ramdass and Jeetendra Sookdeo, Jason Heyliger,  Raj Nanan Amir Khan and Totaram Bishun
The Under-15 Inter-county tournament, of which Berbice are the defending champions, is being played for players born on or after September 1, 1996 and will get under way from  April 2, followed by the GCB/GTM Under-19 Inter-county tournament for players born on or after September 1, 1993.
