There, the Guyanese Head of State was greeted by Chief of Staff of the GDF, Commodore Gary Best and other senior officers.
Following that activity, the President – who was accompanied by his lovely wife, First lady Deolatchmee Ramotar,  proceeded to the Guyana Police Force (GPF) Officers’ ball at Eve Leary, where he was greeted by acting Commissioner of Police Mr. Leroy Brummell, and other senior Police Officers including Crime Chief Seelall Persaud.
The President shared in the Old Year’s night dinner there and mingled with patrons at the celebration before proceeding to the Georgetown Club where he joined other revellers in the gala celebration.
