THE Roraima Duke Lodge yesterday hosted a lunch to show appreciation to some army veterans and differently abled citizens. According to proprietor Captain Gerry Gouviea, this is the second year the event was hosted, and it will continue to be an annual event.
Captain Gouveia, who served for a while in the Guyana Defence Force, is urging other businesses to come on board and honour army veterans for their service to the country.
