IN relation to an article published in the Kaieteur News on Thursday last, under the caption “Police deny squatter a home for Christmas”, Commissioner Henry Greene says he is not aware of police ranks being sent to break down any house on the government reserve at the entrance of the Joint Services Housing Scheme, South Ruimveldt.
In a release last evening the commissioner called upon Kaieteur News to produce evidence to support the publication.
The commissioner said he was aware that the house in question was unoccupied for some time, and he is concerned at the unethical and unprofessional attitude of the Kaieteur News by citing him in a matter without any evidence of his involvement.
