Aspiring Miss India Guyana feeds Joshua House children

ASPIRING Miss India Guyana 2011, Katherina Roshana, recently fed and spent some time with children of Joshua House, in Thomas Street, Georgetown.
“I am definitely confident that I’ll take away that crown,” she told the Guyana Chronicle, after sharing the meals.
Roshana encouraged the children, who were each given a box of chicken curry and a ‘Chubby’ drink, to remain in school.
About the gesture, she remarked, “This is something I’ve always loved doing and I’m very dedicated to doing. I want to address the issue of homelessness in time. But this is what I can do right now.
“I just hope that I can make every child here happy and leave them with a message for them to strive for better and the best. I’ve been doing it for many years,” Roshana said.
