POLICE were, up to press time, hunting three suspects, who robbed a Granville Park, East Coast Demerara family, of cash and jewels, amongst other booty.
The robbery occurred about 03:00hrs yesterday and the victims were Dawn Lyken-Segasebe, 44, Corlette Lyken, 45 and overseas-based Guyanese Kevin Lyken, 27. Police said they were attacked by three men with handguns.
They had just arrived at their residence and were about to enter the premises when a motor car drove up with the three robbers who held them at gunpoint.
The bandits took away a quantity of jewellery, a laptop computer, three cell phones, a ‘Sony camera’ and G$240,000, with which they escaped.
