THIRTY-FOUR-YEAR-OLD Ian Daniels of Herstelling, East Bank Demerara, was Sunday morning stabbed to death by a friend, allegedly over $500.
Daniels, a labourer, was reportedly stabbed in the chest and the knife pierced his lung. Reports say the deceased and his friend had a misunderstanding over the purchase of an illegal substance. The deceased allegedly purchased less than what his friend had expected.  
On Sunday, too, a  man of Third Avenue, Bartica, was chopped to death.
Reports are that Jerry Primo, 51, a miner, was murdered by a man now in police custody.
Charges are likely to be laid shortly.
