IT’’s good to read a bit of good news on co-operation between the United States and Guyana.
The U.S’s commitment to Guyana and to the CBSI partnership extends beyond the CBSI funding. It also includes the provision of patrol/interceptor boats, support equipment, command and control systems, radios, logistical and maintenance support, and training to increase maritime interdiction capability.
Support for building partnerships with local NGOs to provide rehabilitation for juvenile offenders and offer alternatives to violence, training and increased access to microfinance for young entrepreneurs are also a part of the package.
While this good news might be just good for reading one must ask why Mr. David Clark was given a free ride where he is allowed to roam freely with his family in the very United States of America under their protection.
In the minds of most Guyanese David Clark is more of a deadly criminal than that of Roger Khan.
Roger Khan was a low life drug pusher while David Clark a top man in Guyana’s Defence Force who was ordered by President Jagdeo to reign in criminals that were hiding out in Buxton Village.
In that serious operation David Clark could not even produce a sling shot or toy gun from criminals.
David Clark being a top brass in Guyana’s military worked for Roger Khan, David Clark a military man who used his badge with authority and power over the ordinary citizens in carrying out his nefarious activities.
The Laws of Guyana and that of United States of America should punish those who take an oath to serve and protect and to uphold laws of the land even more than just ordinary criminals.
Again, most Guyanese would ask why was David Clark allowed to roam the United States of America when in fact David Clark is even a worse criminal than Roger Khan.
No one, not even those so called experts from Britain and U.S. will stop crimes in Guyana when there are men such as David Clark flashing their badge which comes with power and authority above all others.
Why David Clark is free to roam in the U.S.?
