Post mortem finds victim died from stab wound
THE post mortem performed by pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh, on the body of Shane Jacobs, of Stewartville, West Coast Demerara, revealed that the cause of death was perforation of the lung and heart by a single stab wound. Jacobs was fatally stabbed on April 8, at Pamela Backdam, Mahdia, Potaro, during an argument with another man, who is in Police custody as investigations into the murder continue.
The 30-year-old and his alleged killer had an old grouse because the latter claimed that Jacobs supplied information about him to the Police.
The deceased was one of several miners killed within recent months in the interior of Guyana.
