DARWIN Ficter struck the back of the net five times to lead Tucville Secondary School to a commanding 10-2 victory over Queens College (QC) at the Carifesta Sports Complex ground, as action in the Guyana Sports Development Foundation (GSDF) organised Scotiabank/Pepsi sponsored Academy got underway Saturday. Following the march past of the seven participating schools and brief remarks from both the Minister of Sports Dr. Frank Anthony and chairman of the National Sports Commission Conrad Plummer, the teams took to the field in lusty sunshine.
