A POST MORTEM examination, performed on Monday by Government Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh, has established that Lennox Kallicharran, 27, of Hyde Park, Timehri, East Bank Demerara, died from a fractured skull and haemorrhage to the brain. He was the victim of a fatal accident that occurred on Friday, March 4, on Timehri Base Road and the driver of the motor vehicle involved, who had fled the scene, was arrested on Tuesday and remains in police custody.
Police said, about 20:30 hrs on March 4, 2011, mini-bus BKK 9782 was proceeding along the roadway when the driver lost control of it and struck pedestrian Kallicharran.
The latter was pronounced dead on arrival at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH).
