GRANGER will attain some credibility if he takes the first step of accepting the atrocities inflicted upon the nation during the Burnham era; because who will trust an old stalwart of the regime that rigged elections for decades, humiliated the vast majority of the Guyanese population with institutional racism, violence, blatant prejudice & corruption? Guyanese must refuse to be fooled by any racial politics and not let down our future generations by allowing the despair of the PNC era to be forgotten. An effective opposition must have the interest of the nation foremost…the PNC needs an infusion of fresh minds, not someone who cannot even muster the courage to tell the nation the truth.
