Man jailed in domestic violence case

AKEEM Adams, who unlawfully and maliciously wounded the mother of his child last January 25, was sentenced to nine months imprisonment, by Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday.
The porkknocker was convicted of wounding Onica James in the domestic violence case.
Police Corporal Venetta Pindar, prosecuting, said Adams and the woman had an argument  and he became annoyed, dragged her down some stairs and banged her head against a concrete wall.
The virtual complainant had to seek medical treatment at a clinic, the Prosecutor said.
