Road closure

THE Guyana Police Force (GPF) yesterday said that the following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic from 06:00 hours to 18:00 hours today, Wednesday, February 23, 2011, in order to facilitate the smooth progress of the Mashramani float parade

Thomas Road, from J.B. Singh Road to Camp Road; and Albert Street from Woolford Avenue to Thomas Road, will remain closed for the duration of the Float Parade.

Drivers of motor vehicles desirous of entering the National Park are asked to use the Carifesta Avenue entrance.

Any inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted.
