The Government Information Agency (GINA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, will be hosting a two-day pictorial exhibition on February 21 and 22 to commemorate Guyana’s 41st Republic anniversary. The exhibition will be held from 09:00hrs to 16:30 hrs daily on the lawns of Guyana Stores Limited on Water and Church Streets in the city.
Images showcasing various significant events, locations and personalities in Guyana’s history since Republic status will be featured.
The exhibits will highlight national development in all sectors including health, housing, water, education, agriculture and industry.              
Photographs depicting the origins of Mashramani, historic buildings in and out of the capital city will be on display as well.
Pamphlets, brochures, newspapers, booklets and posters will be distributed to the public free of cost.
The public is invited to attend the opening ceremony on February 21, at 09:00hrs. (GINA)
