I feel compelled to express my views on the PPP’s presidential candidate because I am seeing advertisements and a host of letters which appear orchestrated in favour of Ralph Ramkarran and Moses Nagamootoo.
To me the best candidate is Donald Ramotar. This is a man that is always forthright in his defence of the PPP.
I cannot remember when last I heard Nagamootoo defending the PPP against attacks from the opposition. He is now more known to criticise the PPP and not the opposition.
Ramkarran is the same. I cannot remember him ever defending the party for the last decade or more.
The defenders of the PPP and the government are President Jagdeo, Roger Luncheon, Bheri Ramsarran and Donald Ramotar.
If I had a vote I would surely cast it for Donald Ramotar, a champion of the people.
