The Cheddi Jagan Research Centre houses the collection of documents written by Dr Cheddi Jagan and is dedicated to preserving and promoting his ideas. Anyone interested in the history of Guyana should be acquainted with his book, The West on Trial.

Red House, in a statement, is encouraging anyone interested in the history of Guyana to start reading this book. Chapters 11 & 12 will be discussed at the Cheddi Jagan Research Centre, Red House, on Thursday January 13, 2011 at 17:00 hrs.”

Copies of the book are at the National Library and Red House in the reference section.

The Centre is urging persons to read the two chapters, to attend and discuss these chapters on Thursday.
