I send greetings to the management and staff of the newspaper and to all who have provided patronage and support for our newspaper over the past year.” “Despite the obstacles that were placed in our way }, in spite of the reduction in ads and the smear campaign to which we have been subjected over the past year, we have survived and have become stronger.”

“I would like to publicly express my appreciation to all those who offered support through their words and actions as we deflected attempts to shut our newspaper down in 2010.”
Despite the obstacles that were placed in our way? Glenn the only obstacle placed in your way is a columnist named Freddie Kissoon.
Are you ashamed to mention his name?
Attempts to shut our newspaper down in 2010! Glen why did you not mention the names of those that attempted to shut your newspaper down in 2010?
Or perhaps it’s a figment of your imagination that someone or some people are trying to shut your biased newspaper down?
You continue to have those that write for your biased newspaper calling an elected President an elected dictator, dictator, communist, little Nazis and not expect people to question the motives of your newspaper?
Must I remind you that your newspaper is no different from any other newspaper which is nothing but a dying breed in today’s world.
Continue to allude yourself into thinking that government are the ones trying to shut you down when you know readers are smarter than you think.
The biggest disgrace to your newspaper is Freddie Kissoon, your readers are sick and tired of his daily trash talk about an elected President for the people by the people.
You are a disgrace to your very own newspaper by saying without any facts or calling any name/s of those that attempt to shut your newspaper down.
Continue to live in fantasy because newspaper readers are smarter than you give them credit for.
