Anna Catherina residents affected by noise nuisance

WE, the residents of Anna Catherina village, West Coast Demerara, urgently seek your assistance through your media and the attention of the Commissioner of Police or any other relevant authority that would recognize the urgency and desperation of this plea and act upon it immediately.
Ever since, we have complained about the Caribbean Temptation Liquor Restaurant which is owned and operated by Frederick Rupnarayan called ‘Chuck’ of Anna Catherina, West Coast Demerara about loud continuous and repetitive noise coming from a gigantic set at around 01:00 hr the next morning.

Sir, through your intervention sometime during the year 2008 he was charged, placed before the Magistrate Court and was convicted twice but he continues with this noise.
Our peaceful lives have become a living hell, especially on weekends from Friday to Sunday; hours of much needed rest are being cruelly snatched away from you; we are forced to endure music playing so loud that our windows, beds, even our chests, heads and other body parts vibrate, thereby injuring our health.
Such was on Sunday December 5, 2010 when residents were mercilessly relieved from this cruel onslaught of music playing on a gigantic set at a Duck Curry Competition until around 1:00 hr the next morning.
We are being deprived, not only of our rest but our house facilities too which include telephones, televisions, radios, etc.
Sir, is there somewhere or someone that we can get assistance urgently from, as the Christmas season approaches. We have family members who are senior citizens, some hypertensive or sick otherwise, students who are studying for the upcoming examination and teaching personnel.
There are other booming businesses around the area who turn their music way down low. Chuck cannot be found in their category; his business has respectable persons hanging out there who are his friends. Efforts to get help from the police are always in vain. Chuck has friends who visit his place frequently and he normally boasts about it saying that nobody can stop him from playing his music and he cannot be taken to prison.
Sir, it is in agony that we seek your help because if the police cannot fulfil their role of service  and protection then we are all doomed.
This complaint is not only for us but also for the many other helpless residents who are suffering nationwide like us.
We look forward to your kind indulgence.
