MORE than twenty top designers will come together to display their produce this month in a spectacular fashion market.
CEO of Guyana Fashion Weekend (GFW) Designer Sonia Noel said the event is geared towards helping people find pieces of clothing that would put them one cut above the rest. She said at the event, dubbed ‘Guyana’s Fashion Market Place’, persons could interact with designers to help them find fashion that would set them ‘apart from the average’.
Continuing, she promised that the spectacle of high fashion was guaranteed to leave clientele appreciative of the fine art of fashion design. The designers will also be displaying past designs at the event, she noted.
On behalf of the GFW Committee, Noel expressed gratitude to the management of Pegasus and NCN for making the event possible.
The event, which is entirely free, will be hosted at the Pegasus Hotel today from 09:00 hrs to 21:00 hrs.
