Four detained in Skeldon death probe

FOUR suspects remained in Police custody yesterday as Police investigated the death of Ramesh Randolph.
The body of the deceased was found in a yard at Line Path, Skeldon, Corentyne, Berbice, on Sunday morning.
Those detained, including a fisherman, were consuming alcoholic beverages hours before the lifeless, battered corpse of the labourer was discovered, shortly after 07:00h.
The men, who hail from Crabwood Creek, Corentyne, were arrested following the discovery but Police detectives are awaiting the results of a post mortem examination scheduled to be performed today, at Skeldon Hospital Mortuary, Corentyne.
Police said the remains of Randolph, also known as ‘Raka’, bore injuries.
