I NOTICE with fear and trepidation that the rains are here again, particularly in the capital with all the flooding we could expect.
Now I would like to know what the Council has in place to take care of the flood waters since, after just a short time, I saw a fair amount of streets around the City under water just after a little rain from yesterday.
To me, it seems as if after all the ‘big to do’ last year about the Council Inquiry and all, that this basic thing cannot be fixed. And what about the other things that the Commission of Inquiry was supposed to fix?
I am sure that the situation is still the same with the Council because, suddenly, we are not hearing anything. All we know is that when rain comes, just like last year and the years before that, the entire place will be flooded. What good came out of the inquiry?
What good came out of City Council’s Inquiry?
