ACTING Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday remanded Ryan Barker, 24, of Lot 9 Railway Line, Kitty, Georgetown, to prison on an attempted murder charge. He is charged indictably with having, on October 18, wounded Terrence Jaikissoon with intent to kill him.
Police Sergeant Lionel Harvey, prosecuting, said the accused and the victim were involved in a heated argument and Barker stabbed the other man several times with a knife.
The Prosecutor said the injured man is still hospitalized and successfully objected to bail for the prisoner, who has to be back in Court on October 27.
