FIVE Moneygram customers became the owners of new Dell Notebook computers yesterday as the money transfer service “Back to School Promotion” came to a close.
At the ceremony at the Sports Club Facility of the Neal and Massy Group of companies at Ruimveldt, Moneygram Country Manager Ms. Debbie Baldeo said that the company’s annual “Back-to-School” promotion is a must because of its “high regard for education”.
She said that Moneygram’s involvement in school-related activities started years ago and the company continues to be actively involved. Continuing, she noted that the company has recently completed the installation of 100 new school identification signs in time for the new school year.
CEO of Neal and Massey, Mr. Deo Persuad, said that the prizes were chosen with a view to enhancing education. He promised that the company’s upcoming Christmas promotion, soon to be launched, will be bigger and better.
The winners were Sanjay Ramharrack of 138 Hampshire; Jennifer Douglas of 135 Cato Street, Agricola; Antonette Joseph of 16 Durban Street; Dorcilla Duncan of 107 Grove; and Lancelot Lynch of Linden.
