GUYANESE fans of Ne-Yo are in for a treat as the American singer, songwriter and producer Ne-Yo is billed for a legendary performance at the Guyana National Stadium tonight. The singer who arrived in Guyana yesterday will also make the day of one lucky person who will be chosen as his number one fan.  According to promoters, applications are pouring in and Guyanese male and female, young and old are fighting for the chance to win this incredible opportunity.
Someone reportedly begged for the opportunity to meet Ne-Yo while explaining that his music assisted therapeutically when the person was on the brink of committing suicide. Another made an amazing digital collage with Ne-Yo’s picture which formed the shape of a heart to further depict their love for the artiste.
The top ten applications will be shortlisted and Ne-Yo himself will be choosing the winner. The individual will also be able to bring along a guest to share the experience
Promoters said the venue is currently being equipped with sound and lights meeting international standards to complement Ne-Yo’s performance and organizers are efficiently completing preparations to make this the greatest show of the year.
Ne-Yo patrons will also enjoy performances by Guyanese songstress Timeka Marshall and Soca sensation Jomo.
Jamzone Summer Break Weekend 2010 has been dubbed the ‘Event of the year’ and moreover could be called the ‘premier event of the decade’.
All general tickets will be available at Ashmins Trading Company located on High and Hadfield Streets while patrons can ONLY purchase VIP tickets via Glamour Designer Brands, on the corner of North Road and Wellington Streets and they can also call 592600-VIPS (8477) to make reservations.
Patrons are advised to buy their tickets as early as possible, since ALL tickets for Jamzone Super Concerts only, will be doubled at the gate also, as no tickets will be sold in close proximity of the venues.
