The Dramatic Arts Academy, Mahadeo Shivraj Productions and Stealth Productions will have a hold- over of the Guyanese movie, “Till I Find A Place” tomorrow and Sunday at the National Cultural Centre at 20:00 hrs each evening.
This is in response to the overwhelming support of the Guyanese public during the initial screenings in June. Since the screenings, many patrons have enquired about another opportunity to view the movie and those who were unable to do so, made similar requests.
The producers take this opportunity to express their gratitude to the general public for its support and to the Guyana Telephone & Telegraph Company (GT&T) for their continued assistance in helping to promote a local film industry. It should be noted that this the last opportunity for patrons to view the movie.
CDs of the soundtrack will be on sale during the screenings at the National Cultural Centre at the weekend. Many talented Guyanese wrote and sang the songs featured in the movie. Cast members will be available to autograph CDs at the Cultural Centre.
“Till I Find A Place” is based on a play written by Guyanese Playwright, Ronald Hollingsworth and is directed by Mahadeo Shivraj who plays the lead character. Sonia Yarde, Linden “Jumbie” Jones, Rajan Tiwari and Andre Wiltshire are the other major cast members.
Tickets cost $1000, $700 and $500 and are available only at the National Cultural Centre.
