THE Prosecution was yesterday led to believe that accused Khemraj Bhoodhoo, called ‘Sham & Shaw”, would take a certain course at his trial, when defence Counsel Mr. Bernard De Santos, S.C. , turned up with a contrary instruction.
As a result, Justice William Ramlal indicated that because of the magnitude of the case, it was not likely to be concluded at the current session.
Ther case will therefore be the first to be taken in the June sessions, the judge pointed out.
The accused Bhoodhoo is indicted with having on the 5th day of July 2005, in the county of Demerara, murdered Litendra Roopnarine, called ‘Boyo’.
