The Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana (CIOG) has extended sympathy to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital as regards the recent fire which severely damaged the medical institution.
The CIOG message said: “The Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana extends their sympathy to the Administration of St. Joseph Mercy Hospital on the recent destruction of your hospital and also one of Guyana’s oldest institutions by fire on Monday morning.”
“CIOG avails itself to render any assistance in anyway possible that will allow your institution to get back into operation and continue to benefit the Guyanese people.”
“Our prayers are with you at this time.”
