She stands approximately 6ft 6 ins, and weighing well over 300 lbs when boxing, the woman with her big, bold and beautiful outlook, Shondell Parks, parading as Ms Kara Kara Creek, used her ring savvy to dance away with the Triple b Promotions’ crowd pleasing 2nd annual Linden Town Week Miss Big, Bold and Beautiful contest,  Wednesday night at the Mackenzie Sports Club ground.
Appearing last on stage, among the six delegates in the Triple B Promotions contest, the heavyweight pugilist’s physique earned her the crowd pleasing win from the other five contestants, as she added other titles to her collection for the evening.
It was the last taking the first place on the night as the strapping physique of Parks saw her easily winning the Miss Body award, the Best Casual Wear and Best Beach Wear, while Ms Luther Creek Marilyn Baker was first runner-up.
Third placed Nichola Bryan, Miss Binning, copped the Best Smile and Best Talent awards, as Barbara Duggan, Ms Rashion Creek, collected the Miss Congeniality award. The contestants who had as their platform the various creeks to be found in Linden were Barbara Duggan-Ms Rashion Creek, Jeann Regis-Ms Theatre Creek, Marilyn Baker-Ms Jack Luther Creek, Nichola Bryan-Ms Binning Creek, Samantha Williams-Ms Heavens Mother Creek and Shondell Park-Ms Kara Kara Creek.
