PLEASE allow me to express my heart felt appreciation for the development of the Diamond Housing Scheme located along the East Bank of Demerara.
I’m quite impressed with the state of the housing scheme; it is such a transformation and truly one of the biggest housing areas.
Let me say that over the years, the building of infrastructure and facilities have really enhanced the aesthetics of that community.
Not to mention the benefits and necessities that the residents and those along the East Bank are receiving. Diamond Housing Scheme has a Secondary School, Regional Hospital, a market and a newly constructed well.
The implementation of these facilities has certainly helped many, especially those less fortunate who cannot afford to get to Georgetown for medical treatment and education.
There is also the construction of commercial banks and a recently opened gas station. This is very convenient many will save time and money as compared to when they have to travel distances to transact business.
I do hope that other housing schemes undergo similar transformation; our country will look really good.
It is a really remarkable achievement and I’m sure many will agree when I say the government and investors have done well.
