IT was a pleasant site to behold, the good old PPP boys paying tribute to the Father of the Nation Dr Cheddi Bharrat Jagan and his wife Janet Jagan at Babu John great icons that will forever be etched on our hearts and minds. We will never forget the contribution made by this great son and daughter (yes adopted or adapted daughter call it what you may) to this great land of ours. My only regret is that I was not there to throw in my lot to the celebration of life of these Doyens of Guyanese Society.
It is also the time of choosing a presidential candidate for the upcoming general elections and I am amused by the inordinate obsession of the PNCR with the choice of person to lead the PPP. Some of these have gone the length to pen their choices in the dailies under suspicious looking pseudonyms, but the language style and choice of words has given them away which causes me to laugh out loud. Let me make it abundantly clear to the PNCR that any candidate chosen by the party will receive my support and should I say will win the next election on or before 2011. However, my choice of candidate is Mr. Clement Rohee a man of great knowledge and power who has the wherewithal to govern. He says what he means and means what he says. Strong leadership is what Guyana needs today; cheers to the new resident at state house.
By the way Mr. Rohee I please fix the infrastructure in Region 6. We have been neglected for too long sir.
Tribute to Dr Jagan and Mrs. Jagan at Babu John was pleasant
