The leader of the Justice for All Party (JFAP) , C.N. Sharma expressed good wishes to women all over the world for International Women’s Day,  in a release issued yesterday. Sharma praised women for their courage and selfless dedication and daily struggles to make a difference in the world.

C.N Sharma said that progress for our nation will take place when all Guyanese women take a stand and unite in strength to eradicate poverty, physical, emotional and sexual abuse against women.

Progress for all comes from a greater representation of women in all levels of national and international bodies which will highlight their rights for justice and peace for our nation, he said.
