THE Venezuelan Institute for Culture and Cooperation and the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will be hosting a public event to mark another anniversary of International Women’s Day today at the Venezuelan Institute for Culture and Cooperation, located at 106 New Garden Street, Queenstown, Georgetown from 16:30 hrs. There will be presentations from Representatives of UNICEF, Ministry of Human Services and Social Security, Help and Shelter, a literary presentation by Mr. Petamber Persaud and the main address by Venezuelan Ambassador to Guyana Mr. Dario Morandy.

A statement from the Venezuelan Embassy said several specially invited guests from other various Women’s Organizations, other Embassies in Guyana, Government and Non Government Organizations were invited.
