Post mortem proves murdered housewife was strangled

A POST mortem examination, performed yesterday, on the body of Esther Liloutie Albert, 44, of Crabwood Creek, Corentyne, Berbice, revealed that she died of manual strangulation.
The finding, by Dr. Vivakanand Bridjmohan, set in train a murder probe after Police said the victim was found in her home about 08:30 h on Tuesday.

The woman was celebrating the Phagwah Festival with relatives and friends at her neighbours’ house but her imbibing alcohol and dancing, apparently, angered her husband and he allegedly beat her to death that evening.
He is, however, yet to be arrested.
