The leader Chandra Narine Sharma, and members of the Justice For All Party would like to join in the celebrations of Guyana’s 40th year as a Republic on February 23, 2010.
In 1970 Guyana officially became the Co-operative Republic of Guyana and the day was marked with the introduction of ‘Mashramani’, a day of celebration that has now entered its fortieth year.
With this in mind, JFAP would like to call on all Guyanese to unite as one and remember the words of our motto, ‘One people, One Nation, One destiny’ and let this be our pledge to bond together for the betterment of our nation.
While all may not be well we must stand together and face the ills that have entered our society together, or we stand to be swept away. My Party has always pledged to help the poor and downtrodden and will continue to do so even as we celebrate our 40th Republic Day.
I hope the people of this beautiful nation of ours heed my few words. Do enjoy the rest of this national holiday.
