Fisherman dies on fishing trip

A FISHERMAN, known as Boyso Paul, 54, of Devonshire Castle, died at sea while on a fishing trip.
Reports said he was in a crew of three who left Paradise foreshore  early Tuesday morning and was expected to be away for  several days but tragedy struck off Pomeroon River Mouth.
It is reported that Paul fell ill Tuesday night and went into a coma.
The others in the vessel headed for shore that night and reached Better Success Sluice, close to Charity Hospital, also on Essequibo Coast, but, by the time they rushed him to the institution, he was dead.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
