RICHARD Ousman now deceased, was a pioneer in the tourism industry and a premier tour operator in Guyana. This fact conveniently eludes some selfish and shameless individuals engaged in the industry. It is both disgusting and unfair to the family and friends of this selfless and accommodating individual, that those who knew him must not be silent and allow his advisories to undo what he contributed to tourism.
The latest attempt was made by Frank Singh who was Kaieteur News special person, in one of its Sunday’s publications. So unconscionable and barefaced he was that the person who was responsible for his very being in the industry was not mentioned.
Singh showered himself with praise forgetting his remigration and the warmth he undeservedly from the Ousmans.
The interview was saturated with inaccuracies and fabrications, which was consumed by unsuspecting readers who believe Frank Singh’s expressions. What he did not cater for was this refutation and though Ousman is dead, many sincere friends are alive who are not strangers to the truth.
Frank Singh must produce evident of the University in Venezuela he attended and the certificate in Tourism he acquired.
The tourism industry has lost a stalwart, but his name and contributions shall always be remembered by his friends and adversaries alike, Tour operator must bestow on Richard though deceased, what he rightfully deserves.
