Apology

We would like to apologise to Mr. Daniel Ramdeen whose name appeared in a ‘court story’ in Tuesday’s edition of the Chronicle stating that he was charged for obtaining money by false pretence.

Mr. Ramdeen visited the Chronicle yesterday and said it was his cousin, David Ramdeen, 47, of Lot 10 Bel Air who was charged instead. Ramdeen clarified that his presence in court on the day of the trial was to proffer ‘bail’ for his cousin.
We apologise for any embarrassment caused to Mr. Daniel Ramdeen.
