THE saying that ‘charity begins at home’ comes readily to mind when I listen to the renewed calls for shared governance by PNCR’s Leader Robert Corbin in the media.
Though Mr. Corbin may be credited with some good ideas I wonder if he has ever considered that he needs to begin getting his ‘house’ together before extending his calls for shared government to the wider population.
There is no doubt that Mr. Corbin is not keen on sharing opportunities for leadership with anyone in his party. Instead he is like a child who wants his friends share their toys with him but is himself unwilling to share his with them.
Come on Mr. Corbin when you would have put your house in order and begin power-sharing there then I would be willing to listen to your ideas about shared governance.
For now I would recommend that you let charity begin at home by sorting out your differences with Vincent Alexander and James McAllister.
