Founded on the belief that education is one of the most effective tools for breaking the cycle of poverty, Humanitarian Mission Guyana Inc is a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to educating, empowering and uplifting individuals through accessible vocational training, humanitarian outreaches and community development programmes.
Over the years, the organisation has empowered thousands of Guyanese, particularly women, single parents and vulnerable individuals, by providing opportunities to develop practical skills that promote self-sufficiency and economic independence.
Beyond vocational training, the organisation also supports vulnerable families through community-outreach initiatives, educational partnerships and programmes aimed at fostering hope, dignity and opportunity.

Speaking on behalf of the Board of Directors, Secretary and Chief Executive Officer, Suresh Sugrim, expressed gratitude to the organisation’s donors, teachers, volunteers, staff and community partners for their continued support.
“Today’s graduation is more than the presentation of certificates; it is the celebration of dreams realised, confidence restored and futures transformed. Every graduate represents resilience, determination and hope,” Sugrim said.
“On behalf of our Board of Directors, I extend our deepest gratitude to our donors, teachers, volunteers and supporters whose generosity and commitment have made this achievement possible. Together, we are changing lives through the power of education.”
Sugrim reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to expanding access to quality vocational education, while creating sustainable pathways to employment and entrepreneurship.
